Our Story
SURVplan is a Surveying company located in Coleshill, Birmingham producing Measured Building Surveys and Topographical Land Surveys.
SURVplan was incorporated in 2019 & We have nearly 20years experience in the Surveying trade.
We have produced detailed drawings, for Hospitals, Universities, Warehouses & Retail units. We regularly survey private homes where drawings are required for planning applications.
Within an efficient time frame, we provide our clients a highly accurate product tailored to there specific requirements, whilst maintaining a friendly and professional manner on site.

WHAT WE PROVIDE
MEASURED BUILDING SURVEYS
After visiting site, and depending on the requirements of your specific project.
SURVplan can produce detailed floor plans highlighting all walls, doors and windows in position.
Spot levels can be taken throughout noting any steps, stairs or changes in level.
Drawings can also denote Roof, window sill and head heights, along with levels between floors.
Drawings will be layered to aide the design process, or for planning purposes.
All drawings produced are output in AutoCAD.
In a DWG. DXF Or PDF format.
ELEVATIONS
Whilst on site, SURVplan will survey a buildings facades to produce detailed Elevations.
All door and window openings, rain water & gas pipes, along with electricity & service boxes will be measured. Ridge and Eave heights will also be surveyed
The outcome is a detailed drawing of the structure with notes describing materials used in construction.
All Elevations produced will have an arbitrary Datum.
SECTIONS
A full Measured Building Survey will often require Sections.
The purpose of a Section is to show floor levels, roof heights and walls in situ.
Whilst measuring floorplans, SURVplan will record floor levels, and roof heights along with positions of internal & external walls.
During the processing of the data acquired it is possible to produce Sections, accurately depicting a structures floors, roof heights & walls vertically.
All Sections produced will have an arbitrary Datum.
ROOF PLANS
Roof plans can be produced, to show position of plant, venting & all major services etc.
Spot levels can be taken, and finished drawings can include positions of drainage channels, and access hatches.
TOPOGRAPHICAL LAND SURVEYS.
We use Leica Total Station robotic kit to help us conduct our Topographical surveys. Upon request we can survey areas of land accurately, including boundaries, site furniture including service covers, walls & building lines. Reflector less lasers allow us to plot neighbouring property lines, including Ridge & Eave heights. Spot levels, are also recorded.
ALL WORK RELATED TO NATIONAL GRID VIA GPS
We accurately relate all of our Surveys in both position & level to National Grid using our Leica CS15 GPS system.
